So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 NLT)
James gave two steps to have the devil FLEE from you. He said to HUMBLE yourself TO God. You must become smaller and he most become greater (John 3:30). Then RESIST the devil. You must show that you do not want anything to do with him. Finally, the devil will FLEE from you! You do not flee from him. He flees and your free!
